Wylam Winter Tales 2017 draws to a close in the warm vocal embrace of the superb singer-songwriter YVONNE LYON. Gather round for a beautiful finale with this perceptive and soulful performer.

Hailing from Greenock in the West of Scotland Yvonne is among the best and brightest talent in the UK Acoustic scene. Her latest solo album, These Small Rebellions features songs co-written with Boo Hewerdine, Andrew Howie and David Lyon with special guest appearances from Emily Smith, Cara Luft and Seonaid Aitken. She has consistently stirred audiences across the UK and beyond with her emotive performances, combining poignant lyrics and creative melodies with a smooth and distinctive voice that can be both fragile and intense.

Yvonne has shared the stage with the likes of Beth Nielsen Chapman, Patti Griffin, Karine Polwart, Luka Bloom, Steve Forbert, Juliet Turner and IONA and in 2009, she was among the winners of the Burnsong International Songwriting Competition and performed her winning song All Is Not Lost at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. She has enjoyed TV appearances on BBC 1 and BBC Alba and has also had the privilege of guesting on live sessions for Bob Harris on his BBC Radio 2 show.
