CELEBRATE WINTER TALES:
Songwriting Residency Concert

Wylam First School, Bell Road, Wylam, NE41 8EH
Friday 27th January 2017, 7pm
Tickets: 110
Prices: £3.00

The talented Durham based singer-songwriter BETHANY ELEN COYLE will be joining us this year to work with pupils from Wylam First School. Bethany has extensive experience as both a music practitioner and performer and most recently has brought together the superb Journey To Justice project commemorating Martin Luther King Jr’s visit to Newcastle University in 1967.

Along with the Wylam school pupils she’ll be writing some new songs on the theme of ‘Celebrate Winter Tales’. At this evenings short concert we’ll hear the new songs given their debut and performed by some of the children. We’ll also hear some songs from Bethany and be treated to a performance from vibrant local youth folk group The Stocksfield Stompers.
